Sustainable cooperation between HIRSCH and Ringana
Ringana is now using our resource-saving molded pulp packaging. The molded pulp packaging is 100% reusable, is biodegradable and compostable.
Especially in times like these, the cooperation between two Austrian flagship companies is particularly noteworthy with regard to a functioning circular economy in the packaging sector.
The sustainable packaging is mainly used by Ringana for their drinks, as our special process gives them a smooth and visually appealing surface and also protects against glass breakage.
We are currently investing around € 3 million in the Glanegg headquarters by developing a new molded pulp production plant by Hirsch Technology and building an additional warehouse in order to be prepared for the growing demand for protective transport packaging made from 100% recycled cardboard. In this way, our customers get everything from a single source. – from the supply of the recovered paper, the entire process takes place at our plant in Glanegg.
