HIRSCH Servo Group strengthens market position with planned acquisition of Polish EPS* insulation manufacturer Tyron

The Austrian HIRSCH Servo Group, European market leader in the production of polystyrene insulation materials and packaging and leading supplier of machines and molds for particle foam processing, is continuing its growth and expansion course. The takeover of Tyron Sp. z o.o., based in Kluczbork, is to take place on 4 April 2024. Over the past 15 years, Tyron has positioned itself as a renowned manufacturer of building materials for the construction industry, particularly in the field of expanded polystyrene (EPS) insulation products.

“By entering the Polish insulation market, we not only see a significant expansion of our product portfolio, but also important impulses for our already established production sites in Wroclaw and Lodz, which primarily focus on the production of packaging,” explains Harald Kogler, CEO of the HIRSCH Servo Group.

Wiesław Czarnecki, former Managing Director of Tyron Sp. z o.o., will take over the management of Tyron together with the Managing Director of
HIRSCH Porozell Sp. z o.o., Szymon Hryniewicz, from the announced change of ownership on 4 April 2024. Mr. Czarnecki sees promising growth opportunities for Tyron under the ownership of the HIRSCH Servo Group, while Szymon Hryniewicz emphasizes, among other things, the addition of 50 highly qualified employees to the group of companies.

From April, which also marks the start of the new financial year (April – March), the HIRSCH Servo Group, headquartered in Glanegg/Austria, has a production network of 36 locations in 10 countries and employs around 2,000 people.
