Acquisition of TERRASIT
HIRSCH Servo continues its growth strategy – Acquisition of TERRASIT strengthens market presence in Southeast Europe
The HIRSCH Servo Group is taking the next strategic step in its expansion: On January 1, 2026, HIRSCH Porozell GmbH will acquire 60% of EPS and EPP specialist TERRASIT INSULATION d.o.o., based in Gračanica (Bosnia and Herzegovina). This move will significantly expand the position of Europe’s leading supplier of EPS insulation materials, sustainable packaging solutions, and particle foam technology in Southeast Europe.
TERRASIT was founded in 2000 and produces high-quality EPS and EPP solutions for the construction, industrial, and packaging sectors, including insulation boards, underfloor heating systems, technical molded parts, and customized packaging solutions. Around 40 employees ensure consistent product quality and strong customer relationships in Central, Southern, and Southeastern Europe.
The previous owner, Osman Tukić, will remain on board as managing director and continue to hold 40% of the company’s shares.
At the beginning of 2026, the HIRSCH Servo Group’s Europe-wide production network will comprise an impressive 35 locations in 11 countries with around 1,800 employees – another milestone on the way to further expanding its market leadership in Europe.
“With TERRASIT, we are not only expanding our production network in Southeast Europe, but also gaining an experienced partner with strong customer relationships. TERRASIT ideally complements our portfolio – both in the insulation sector and in technical molded parts and packaging,” emphasizes Wolfgang Landler, CEO of the HIRSCH Servo Group. The company’s high product quality and customer focus were particularly convincing.
Managing Director Osman Tukić also looks to the future with optimism: “I am proud to become part of the HIRSCH family—a company that has stood for innovation, sustainable technologies, and stability for over five decades. Together, we want to tap into new markets and further expand our technological expertise.”
