Lerncafé Caritas: Promoting Education, Creating Opportunities

A reliable partner for education: Once again this school year, the HIRSCH Servo Group is strengthening the Caritas Lerncafé in St. Veit an der Glan with a generous donation – bringing smiles and bright eyes to many children.

The Lerncafé in St. Veit offers free learning support for 17 children and adolescents aged six to fifteen. Many of them come from families who cannot afford tutoring. Here, they find not only academic help, but also encouragement, trust – and real opportunities for the future.

To mark Krampus Day, we surprised the children and young people with delicious “Krampus” pastries – a heartfelt gesture during the festive season that sparked great joy and excitement.

The HIRSCH Servo Group has been committed to the Lerncafé since it opened five years ago – a clear expression of our values: equal opportunity and social responsibility. “Education is the foundation of a strong and future-ready society. Supporting children means investing in our shared future,” emphasizes HIRSCH Servo CEO Wolfgang Landler. Caritas Director Ernst Sandriesser also expresses his gratitude: “Especially in economically challenging times, HIRSCH’s long-standing support is an invaluable contribution for children who otherwise wouldn’t have access to this kind of help.”
