HIRSCH Servo Group acquires injection molding manufacturer Renostav in the Czech Republic
The Austrian HIRSCH Servo Group, a leading supplier of sustainable polystyrene insulation, packaging and technology solutions in Europe, is continuing its expansion course. By acquiring the plastic injection molding company Renostav spol. s.r.o. in Zábřeh na Moravě/Czech Republic, which currently primarily produces interior parts for the automotive industry, the Group is expanding both its product portfolio and its production network.
“The acquisition of Renostav is a unique opportunity for us to enter injection molding production. The additional expertise will enable us to offer our customers even more diverse packaging solutions in the future. For example, high-quality injection molded parts for the household appliance industry,” says HIRSCH Servo CEO Harald Kogler.
Renostav currently employs 35 highly qualified employees and is now a 100% subsidiary of HIRSCH Czech Republic s.r.o.. The previous owner and managing director has sold the company for reasons of age. The parties have agreed not to disclose the purchase price. The new Managing Director of the five Czech locations of HIRSCH Czech Republic and Renostav is Raska Zdenek, who has already been working as a project manager for HIRSCH Czech Republic for a year.
The HIRSCH Servo Group, headquartered in Glanegg/Austria, now has a production network of 35 locations in 10 countries and employs around 1,950 people.
