EPSolutely successful: CTC Award for circular economy project

The EPSolutely circular economy project, in which the HIRSCH Servo Group is actively involved, was named Top Submission at the CTC Award: Close the Circle by Ghezzo in Vienna. This recognition confirms the success of the project, which is dedicated to the sustainable recycling of expanded polystyrene (EPS) and sets new standards in the area of recycling and resource conservation.

EPSolutely aims to revolutionize the EPS recycling process in such a way that the need for primary raw materials is significantly reduced and emissions are lowered. Modern technologies for the collection, sorting and processing of EPS enable a closed-loop system that offers both ecologically and economically sustainable solutions.

Harald Kogler, CEO of the HIRSCH Servo Group, explains: “This award is a great success for the entire team and proof that we are taking an important step towards a functioning circular economy as part of EPSolutely.” Markus Kraft, Director Group Procurement & ESG, also emphasizes the importance of the project: “EPSolutely shows how innovative technologies and sustainable strategies can work together to bring about real change. With this project, we are proving that the recycling industry is a key element for protecting our planet.”
