Factlink Chatbot Goes Live

As part of the EPSolutely initiative, the HIRSCH Servo Group is consistently advancing the circular economy for expanded polystyrene (EPS). Following the successful establishment of a nationwide system in Austria for the return and recycling of EPS construction materials, the next step in digital information delivery is now being introduced.

GPH (Güteschutzgemeinschaft Polystyrol-Hartschaum) is expanding the EPSolutely offering with immediate effect by adding the digital information interface “Factlink.” This new chatbot provides fast and direct access to reliable, expert knowledge.

EPS Recycling in Practice

EPSolutely goes far beyond theory: since September 2024, a nationwide collection service for clean insulation offcuts has been available across Austria. Reported via a web app, the material is collected directly from construction sites and processed into new insulation products.

This closed-loop system reduces disposal costs and transforms Styrofoam from waste into a valuable raw material. In doing so, it sets a benchmark for circular construction across the German-speaking region.
