Living the circular economy

Last year we reported on the successful test run for the production of protective transport packaging made of 100% recycled EPS ( = expanded polystyrene, airpop).

For our customer proinsects we are already allowed to mass produce EPS boxes for fishing worms from 100% recycled EPS. The recycled EPS comes from BEWI RAW and our sister company Novopol, which incidentally operates the first mechanical EPS recycling plant in Europe. Thus, we produce new raw material beads from used EPS packaging, which are then reused for the production of new EPS protective packaging. Entirely in the sense of a functioning circular economy.
